Mary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and offers individual psychotherapy sessions.
What to expect in a therapy session
Appointment length: All appointments are 50 minutes in length.
1st appointment: *you will be provided with paper work that will help you to briefly outline your problem(s) or describe why you are coming to therapy. You and I will go over your information so that I can get a better understanding of who you are, the details of your problem, and we can get to know one another better. You will also have a chance to provide me with any background that you feel is important.
*We will discuss how therapy can help to solve your problem, issue or situation.
*Together we will discuss the best plan for you and set goals to accomplish it.
*You will be able to get answers to any questions you may have.
*We will set an appointment for follow-up sessions.
Follow-up sessions:
*Scheduling weekly or bi-weekly (2x/month) appointments is recommended for most effectively addressing a problem or issue.
